Founded as a manufacturer's representative company in 1959 by Floyd Thomas Sr. and Bill English, the original name was Thomas & English. This small 2 man company operated a 9,000 square foot warehouse and sold raw materials to paint manufacturers in St. Louis until 1985. Then, a change in ownership began an era of significant growth.

    Eagle Specialty Products' manufacturing division began by making Polyols for 2 component urethane systems. Today, ESP manufactures over 6 million pounds of polyol per year. In 1999, ESP began manufacturing pigment dispersions and specialty additives for the paints & coatings, caulks, inks, adhesives, plastics and metal working fluids industries. With over 200 standard products and national distribution, ESP has quickly become a valuable supplier to the chemical industry.

    Currently, ESP owns and operates 435,000 square feet of office, manufacturing, laboratory and warehouse space. As an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, we are committed to providing the highest quality products and services to our customers.
